http://http://www.flickr.com/photos/96344899@N00/The rivers are blown out at this time due to a quick thaw and Lots of snow on the ground.

The winter Steelhead fishing has been very good until this thaw and Walleye had just started to come up the rivers.

The west side of the lower peninsula rivers should be fish-able next week. This high water condition will bring more steelhead ans Walleye up the river.

It may be an early spawn for both species. The Saginaw river Walleye fish well in February and March and will be at fish-able level next week.

The Muskegon river will also be fish-able next week and I look for good number of steelhead and Walleye to be present

There is no ice on these rivers You should fish from a boat
