Huy. seems like you guys are having a lot of fun. Keep it up ...
Man,,,, what a day!
I had two guys in the boat yesterday that knew how to fish. All I had to do was get them dialed in on how to use the rattle float and the game was on!
They caught fish in the Ashley and the Wando rivers.
Like I said before,,,That Berkley "Gulp Alive" is the ticket!!
I dont know how many fish they boated,,,but it was a lot!
If you dont use the Gulp Alive,,,,,you should be.....................
Here is a few shots for you.

Once the wind stopped blowing 20mph we could get out and catch some fish.......
The live and cut mullet has been my favorite bait.

The Amberjacks would hit ANYTHING!!!
We caught fish on every rod we had in the boat.
From 8lb up to 50lb test. All fish were released.
I had some reels to test for Penn and Pflueger,,,,and man did we test them!
As you can see here,,They loved the Zara Spook.
You could have free-gaffed one (If you wanted to)
Look at the hooks.........

Sorry it's been so long since my last report, but I think that pictures tell the story when any angler or charter captain makes a report on the net,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I don't like taking my expensive camera on a charter but sometimes I do.
I kept the guys busy with the red drum for a while as you can see here!
The live mullet worked better than the cut mullet,,,but then again the live menhaden worked good too.
Both were used with good results. A couple of fish were caught on cut mullet.
We boated eight Red Drum anywhere from 27"-30" and got cut off by three others.,,,the guys had a blast!
Tackle was Pflueger Medalist and Peen reels loaded with Stren 20lb Super Braid, on the new Penn Torque rods.
The fall spawn on the giant red drum has started already! ,,,,,I hope you guys can get out and fish for some of the best red drum fishing on the east coast here in Charleston!

Here are a few pictures from this season.
The biggest fish was 46" long. We ended up with 5 giant red drum that were 46"-38",, and 8 that were 28"-31"
I wish it would show the picture.............
